Brief Introduction

Young Yangtze River Scholars of the Ministry of Education, National GIS Innovation Figures in universities, Young Remote Sensing Scientific and technological Innovation talents of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 121 innovative talents of Hunan Province are mainly engaged in the research of air/soil pollution remote sensing monitoring, natural resources monitoring and analysis, GIS space-time simulation and mapping, environmental exposure risk assessment and early warning service development. The results have been applied to major provincial, national and local application projects such as "monitoring of important geographical conditions in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, monitoring of urban expansion in Chang-Zhu-tan, and investigation of total environmental exposure in China". The research results have formed a complete chain of "theory-method-technology-application", which has been highly recognized by domestic and foreign peers and widely concerned by the society. Two special press conferences organized by the government have been released to the public, and reported by more than 30 media such as CCTV13, Hunan Economic and Television, CNR.cn, Science and Technology Daily, and Sina.com.
