Chief Scientist of key R&D programs under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Member of the Discipline Review Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, Member of the Geography Teaching Guidance Committee for Basic Education of the Ministry of Education.

 

Research Areas: Urban physical geography and environmental-hazard processes; Environmental geography and estuarine biogeochemical cycles and their ecological health effects; Environmental information integration and services for the Yangtze River Delta and urban agglomerations.

Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences (UK), expert in remote sensing and geographic information science. Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; One of the first group selected for the National New Century Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project by the Ministry of Personnel; Recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance.

 

Research Areas: GeoAI and spatial optimization, sustainability assessment and optimization, geographic simulation systems, land use change modeling and environmental impact analysis.

Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of Southwest Jiaotong University (concurrently Director of the Academic Ethics Committee), Member of the 8th Discipline Review Group (Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology) of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, National Distinguished Professor (2008), Selected for the New Century Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project (National Level, 2009).

 

Research Areas: Research and teaching in geospatial informatics; Conducted fundamental and pioneering work in digital elevation models, 3D geographic information systems, and virtual geographic environments.

Prof.Zhi Gao, Wuhan University

 

Deputy Dean of the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering, Recipient of the National Overseas High-Level Talent Program (Youth Project), Hubei Provincial Outstanding Young Scholar, Principal Investigator of major projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Deputy Director of the Working Committee of the Luojia Laboratory, Hubei Province. Hubei Provincial "Chu Tian Scholar" Distinguished Professor.

 

Research Areas: Application research in artificial intelligence, computer vision and intelligent unmanned systems, surveying, mapping, and remote sensing.

PhD Supervisor, Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talent, Member of the Ministry of Education Teaching Guidance Committee (Surveying and Mapping Category), State Council Special Allowance Expert, Disaster Reduction Committee Expert, Statistical Remote Sensing Expert for the National Bureau of Statistics, Council Member of the China Association for Geographic Information Society.

 

Research Areas: Quantitative remote sensing of resources and environment, remote sensing application research: agriculture, statistics, environment, disasters, finance, insurance, etc.

Prof.Xiao Cheng, Sun Yat-sen University

 

PhD Supervisor, Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Previously awarded the Beijing Youth "May Fourth Medal" and "China Polar Expedition Advanced Individual" honorary titles.

 

Research Areas: Long-term commitment to research on polar remote sensing monitoring theory, methods, and applications, including mechanisms of interaction between Antarctic ice shelves-sea ice-regional climate systems, inversion techniques for key polar sea ice parameters, and polar unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing mapping technology.

Prof.Yu Liu, Peking University

 

Professor at the Institute of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, Peking University. Participated in or led over ten research projects including Distinguished Young Scholars Fund, Key Funds, and Key R&D Program projects. Published over 100 SCI/SSCI indexed papers.

 

Research Areas: Long-term commitment to research supporting geospatial models and analytical methods.

Prof.Tao Pei, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences

 

Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, PhD Supervisor. Current position: Research Professor and PhD Supervisor at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information System.

 

Research Areas: Spatial data mining, geostatistics.

Prof.Liangyun Liu, Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences

 

Recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Ten Thousand Talents Program - Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation, and the NSFC Distinguished Young Scholars Continuation Funding Project. Concurrently serves as Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Member of the 9th Advisory Committee of the Earth Science Department of the NSFC, Member of the Expert Group for the Ministry of Science and Technology's Fragile Ecology Special Project during the 14th Five-Year Plan, Deputy Director of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, etc.

 

Research Areas: Quantitative remote sensing of terrestrial ecosystem carbon sources and sinks, chlorophyll fluorescence remote sensing mechanisms and models, high-resolution time-series quantitative remote sensing algorithms and global products.

Prof.Sen Jia, Shenzhen University

 

Distinguished Professor, PhD Supervisor, National-Level Young Talent, Shenzhen Outstanding Young Scholar, Deputy Dean of the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University. Led over twenty national and provincial/ministerial level projects, published over 160 research papers, received multiple provincial/ministerial level awards. Guided students to win several domestic and international industry competition championships, and fully funded students for research exchanges abroad (Japan, Australia, Italy, etc.).

 

Research Areas: Research and development work on artificial intelligence and multimodal large models.
